myWSU – How do I add classes to my shopping cart and enroll in classes


This video shows you how to add classes
to your shopping cart and validate your shopping cart prior to your enrollment
appointment opening and also how to enroll in classes from your shopping
cart once your enrollment appointment opens Let’s begin go to student homepage
in mywsu the student homepage is what appears on the screen now select the
manage classes icon select class search and enroll select the term that you want
to enroll in select continue you will now add classes to your
shopping cart you can add classes by entering a class number or you can use
the class search feature let’s first add a class using the class number feature
type in the class number select enter on this screen if you wish to be placed on
the waitlist if the class is full then select the waitlist box select next the
class has been added to your shopping cart you can see anthropology 101 and
your spring shopping cart now we will add a class using the class search
feature select a class search select search enter the campus enter the
subject enter the class number select search select the desired class on this
screen if you wish to be placed on the waitlist if the class is full then
select the waitlist box select next the class has been added to your shopping
cart you now see accounting 231 and anthropology 101 in your shopping cart
now that you have added the classes to your shopping cart you want to validate
your shopping cart to ensure there would be no enrollment issues when you
actually enroll in the class on the day of your enrollment appointment to
validate your shopping cart select shopping cart select the classes that
you wish to validate select the validate button in the upper right corner of the
screen the screen will show you if there are any enrollment issues this screen
shows that you will be able to successfully enroll into anthropology
101 as indicated by the green checkmark you can’t enroll in accounting 231
because you do not meet the prerequisites as indicated by the red X
you should contact your academic advisor to resolve any enrollment issues prior
to your enrollment appointment opening in this example your advisor instructed
you to drop accounting 231 from the shopping cart to drop the class go to
your shopping cart select the class you wish to drop select the delete button in
the upper right corner select yes only anthropology 101 remains in your
shopping cart if you add classes to your shopping cart early it is recommended
that several days prior to your enrollment appointment opening that you
validate your shopping cart again to ensure everything is still ok this way
you will avoid any delays when you enroll in your classes on the day of
your enrollment appointment to enroll into classes that are in your shopping
cart complete the following steps go to your student home page as shown here
select manage classes select shopping cart
select the classes you wish to enroll in to select enroll select yes you are now
enrolled in the class indicated by the green checkmark
