Today we will talk about amazon account suspension. What are the reasons of account suspension and how can we re-instate the suspended account. First, lets discuss reasons of account suspension If you are selling inauthentic, fake, or counterfeit product, your account will get suspended. If you are accessing your amazon seller dashboard from multiple location, your account will get suspended. If any customer files a negative complaint or a bad review against you, your account get suspended. If you haven’t refunded any customer then, your account might get suspended. and, sometimes your account get suspended without any reasons. You try to take multiple follow ups from amazon but all goes in vain. So, what exactly happen due to account suspension first of all, your whole business comes to a standstill You won’t be able to do anything. Neither you can do any transaction nor you can deliver any package you can’t initiate any refund, even you can’t transact your hard earned money to your bank account. Your amazon account got freezed for 2 to 3 months. So, you can’t do anything at this point of time. And, amazon ask you for a POA. POA means Plan-Of-Action We will discuss the POA in detail. Also, I will show you, how you can write a great POA. I will share sample POAs that me and my seller friends have used to re-open their account. So, First of all you have to avoid all the reasons that I have mentioned for account suspension. I would like to share a specific case that has happened with one of my friend. He used to sell from Delhi but he accessed his account from Lucknow. Due to this amazon thought his account has been accessed by some one else because of different IP Address. And, his account gets suspended. From, this specific case I understood that one should access amazon seller dashboard from single IP address, same computer. Never ever access your dashboard from cyber cafe because multiple people use the same IP address. There might be chances that any seller has already been used that computer. Then, your account as well as his/her account will get suspended. so, always try to avoid these small mistakes. If any customer writes a negative feedback against you, take it positively. Accept it. Provide resolution to that customer. Never argue or try to shame the customer. Because, customer is god for amazon and we have to treat them as a god too. Listen to your customers, improve your weak areas as per feedback. Improve your product based on feedback second key observations is that many sellers sell through FBA and most of the orders get refunded in FBA. You must have faced it and most of account get suspended in FBA only. The reason behind this is when you sell a product through FBA and if customer return that product it came back to amazon ware house as per standard procedure. and, if customer returned this product due to defect. As amazon has already kept this defective product and get a new order of same product. There might be chances that it will dispatch the same product. And, second customer return it as well. so, initially you have only one unsatisfied customer but now you have two. You can avoid this scenario You should ask for return at your warehouse instead of amazon warehouse. Check whether the product is defective or not? If yes, replace it with new one and ship it to amazon warehouse. So, these are reasons and two specific cases that my seller friends have faced for account suspension. Let’s talk about Amazon POA Plan-Of-Action, that amazon expect from you when your account gets suspended. In case of account suspension, first of all don’t get panic don’t get agitated or irritated… stay calm Reason behind this is when you were writing POA then your frustration should not reflect in that letter whomsoever is going to read your POA letter he/she should not get the impression that your written this letter out of frustration. You should not be angry while writing and should not point out customer’s mistake. Don’t write anything that goes against you. What you have to do while writing POA? firstly, accept your mistake and apologize for the same. Mention the reason why this mistake has happened. Most of the time you know it that your machine is producing a defective product but still you dispatch it customers. write this issue in POA. Suppose, you manager has packed a wrong product and delivered it. Highlight that issue in POA. These are things that you need to mention in the POA. Key points to consider while writing a POA are 1. Acknowledge Your Mistake. 2. Apologize For Your Mistake. 3. Steps your are going to take for rectifying the issue. Write it down point-by-point that machine was faulty or manager has done this blunder. so, we have fixed the machine or hired a new manager. If possible, attach the images of both old and new machine . This is the new machine and we are manufacturing product from this one. Now, tell them this mistake won’t be repeated in future and list down all the precautionary measures that you are going to take. I am very sure your account will get re-open. Be polite in your mail. And, most importantly Don’t add or mention any emotional story in the POA. Write everything to-the point and precisely Whomsoever going to read your POA don’t think that person will get emotional by your story that he will get attached with your story and re-open your account. Amazon people are straight forward so write to-the point. Like this goof-up has been happened… we are apologized for this… and these are the precautionary measures so that same won’t repeat in future. I have added a sample POA in description box. You can use this POA to re-open your suspended account. This plan of action will not give you 100% guarantee… that your account will re-open, however… trust me, by this plan of action I have re-instated almost every suspended account of seller friends.
